NEW THIS | Things Happening
Wednesday, August 27, 2014
After months of preparations, countless ‘can't wait’s and heartwarming goodbyes, I'm actually here. Things are actually happening tomorrow!
Therefore, I’m starting this blog thing to update my loved ones and at the same time create a little archive, while I’m on my biggest world trip thus far, starting with my study abroad semester in Seoul, South Korea.
What I'm feeling right now? Everything, and yet nothing out the ordinary. I do have to say that it's not hitting me quite yet, even though I'll be off to the other side of this beautiful planet in a little more than 24 hours. I know I'm leaving for a long period of time, I know I'll be making this trip on my own, I know I'll miss my loved ones, I know that I don't fully know what to expect: you see, I knów all these things, but maybe it's not fully sinking in, because all in all I haven't had similar situations in my life thus far to relate it to. I'll probably get that when I'm on the "I'm actually going on a plane"-side of Schiphol Airport.
To put a little disclaimer out there: I'm not good with words, or with thoughts, if you didn't know already. I use a lot of commas, sentences within sentences, grammar mistakes and punctuation marks that probably do not belong in the places where I put them - But this is how my mind works. Don’t worry; I plan on alternating the boring text with pictures. Oh, and for my Dutchies, who don't feel like reading in English: Don't worry, I'm looking out for you (Fam, I see you). There should be a translator thingy on the right, but do note that the translation will probably be crappy.
Tag along if you want. Just enjoy my enjoyments and feel free to leave a messages or comments. Keep me in your prayers now and then, and be blessed!
Blessings and love,
Nin
